I love all the amazing work in this group, so inspiring!
Thank you very much for the kind words! :D
And thanks for being a part of it. The more people we have in group the more popular we get :D
I want to learn itt :(
these are awesome
How can I learn?
sure thing! I'm so sorry I didn't reply earlier!!
The things you are going to need:
1) soutache [link] it should be available in haberdashery or in internet stores
2) fabric glue, I'm using Gütermann creativ
3) stones/buttons and lots of beads
4) thin and strong nylon thread
5) thin and long needles I'm using needles nr 8
6) felt or some other thick fabric
7) lots of patience
Now I will show you some photos found on Google and explain the next steps to you:
[link]
you glue your center stone to the felt and cut the rest of fabric leaving about 0,5 cm fabric from the edges of stone
[link]
now you take some soutache in the colors you want near the center piece and cut the to 15 cm pieces (I recommend using 2-4 at the time no more) and you need to sew them together in the middle of this 15 cm pieces. Remember to sew them neatly only in the narrowing ( soutache string have narrowing which extend on the entire length of soutache)!! Like on this pic ( [link] )
(sew them 3/4 times, just enought that they will hold togheter)
[link]
ok! the important step, sew the soutache to the felt left near the corners of stone
[link]
do in neatly all the way around the stone (center piece)

Next steps depends only on your creativnes :)

in this step you spread your glue on the back side of your piece and taped it with felt leather or some other nice fabric
